Soccer superstar player Cristiano Ronaldo is opening up for the first time about how he had been tasked to do the most heartbreaking job in the world.
The celebrity mentioned that breaking the news to his kids about how their little baby brother had died was just so painful and he hopes and prays that no other dad would ever be forced to do something of that sort.
Ronaldo explained how the kids end up saying things like, ‘Hey Mom, where is the other baby!” And for him, it just brings back so many memories that he wishes weren’t his reality.
The couple went public with the announcement of their twins and they shared an image that featured them and the twins on an ultrasound.
The famous striker for Manchester United revealed all the details in a recent interview with Piers Morgan.
“Telling them that little Bella was the healthy twin but their brother was weak and just couldn’t make it really made me realize that I am not strong. I couldn’t do it. This required a lot of patience and heart and I was not strong”- the soccer star explained.
Ronaldo says that he had to explain how his Angel had to go back to the heavens because that is where he belonged. He added that it was hard but the kids do understand. They even sometimes point toward the sky and say they did this for Angel and he finds that super sweet.
Today, the family is stronger than ever and they feel that while the incident did shake them up, they’re more united and feel blessed for every little thing in their lives.
