The world of Hollywood isn’t an easy place to live in and this recent incident involving celeb Miley Cyrus is proof of just that.

According to sources from local media outlets, the star was shocked to the core after receiving a lawsuit that was filed against her name for posting up a picture of herself on social media.

The photograph feature Miley Cyrus and no one else but the star may have forgotten that in today’s modern day and age, you need to have a license to use your own images, or else what you get in return is a major fine in the form of being sued.

Sources claim the infamous image was clicked in 2020 and it has now become the face of a new lawsuit filed by a woman named Barbara. She accuses the plaintiff of stealing, storing, and making use of her image without any form of consent or license and that’s just not okay.

Interestingly, this is definitely not the first type of case of its kind. Barbara is infamous for suing so many people, famous or not, regarding her photos being stolen. And one of her most popular lawsuits was against superstar singer Dua Lipa.

So what do they want in return, well, plenty of money of course? And many experts feel it’s a trap that a lot of celebs tend to fall in, including top supermodels.

While Miley Cyrus’s team has refused to make any comment in this regard, it’s quite obvious where this case appears to be going. And by that, we mean a financial settlement because the picture was indeed not Miley’s, despite her being in it.

At the moment, the image is no longer found on Miley Cyrus’s account but the photographer wants all the profits made from it alongside a list of expenses in the name of damages.
