A mother claims to have been left mortified after the cops fined her a ticket worth $400 for pumping breast milk inside her own car.
The new mom says she had no choice but to get milk for her newborn child. But before she knew it, there were officers knocking on her door and asking her to step out as she would now be fined for the behavior.
The subject of breastfeeding is as taboo as can be and now, a recent incident has left the world stunned after the mother filed a complaint against the officers whom she claims denied her her right to breastfeed.
She says that it was not only breastfeeding but the act of pumping milk from her breasts that had the officers ticked off. And they failed to give her the chance to explain her side of the story.
“Since when did such behavior turn into some sort of an illegal action?”- the loving mother of one questioned.
Moreover, she says that people need to realize that sometimes they are crossing the line and not letting mothers do what’s best for their children. And in her case, it was getting milk ready for the little one.
But then all of a sudden, a twist arose in this entire story. The mother of one who appeared to be complaining so much got a major reality check.
She mentioned later on how the main issue here had to do with the likes of her not wearing her seatbelt properly. And that is what made her end up in this condition.
