According to local media outlets, the university terminated 46-year-old Professor Christopher Trogan on the 25th of October for mixing up the names of the two students that happened to walk in late to his class.

Reports also stated how the professor even sent out emails to the students, explaining how it was a genuine and innocent mistake, adding how he has a confused brain.

But that did not appear to be enough in reconciliation for the university who opted to terminate his contract for the act.

Details into the bizarre case revealed how the two students, Chantel Sims and the other who chose to remain anonymous, started to express their anger and frustration at the teacher for the error.

In the shocking email, the students stated how they strongly felt that the error had to do with their skin color, as revealed in the University’s paper.

But the Professor immediately decided to clear their confusion, assuring them how it was a genuine error, blaming his confused brain since the students arrived late, while he was in the middle of teaching his lecture.

Right after getting fired, the professor opted to send another email. However, this time it was nearly nine pages long and comprised of a letter to all of his former 80 students, stating his view on what really went on.

Since then, the University has barred the teacher from communicating with any of their students.

Meanwhile, the assistant vice president of the communications department, Bob Howe, has declined to answer any queries that the students may possess regarding the case.

Howe also explained to Daily Mail how national regulations don’t allow the university to speak on personal matters and for that reason, he wouldn’t be sharing any more details on the case and matters relating to misrepresentation.
