The Duke of York’s legal team is doing everything in their power to keep evidence from the Ghislaine Maxwell trial a secret after it was revealed how Prince Andrew had close relations with Jeffrey Epstein.
The news comes as the renowned socialite from the UK, Ghislaine Maxwell, was declared guilty by a US jury on Wednesday, putting a close to a very high profile trial in Manhattan, New York.
Now, local media reports have gone on to claim that Prince Andrew’s lawyers are working hard at getting depositions sealed in the civil case.
The news comes in the form of an unprecedented request for witness depositions to be ‘sealed’ and that means they will not be made public, stated a lawyer who happens to be representing Virginia Giuffre, a known accuser in the trial.
“They want the witness testimony to be a top-secret and if I were Prince Andrew, I would be shaking in his boots,” explained the lawyer.
The Duke of York has reportedly been accused of assaulting a trafficked teen named Virginia Giuffre, as a nail-biting showdown at the court will take place next week.
Meanwhile, Ms. Giuffre’s legal representatives have gone on to reveal how there is no such logic or even authority for carrying out such a provision.
All of this information has immediately come after Prince Andrew’s pal Maxwell was termed guilty last night on five of her six charges relating to trafficking of underage teens so they could be abused by Jeffrey Epstein.
Maxwell could reportedly face up to 60 years in jail and even more. However, some speculation has already begun regarding how her sentence could potentially be reduced if she chooses to mention a few important names.
