A Primary School has left a couple baffled after issuing a warning on how their child could potentially be deemed transphobic.
According to local media reports, the Church of England School warned the parents about their six-year-old son’s behavior, right after he saw a boy wearing a skirt.
The child was so confused as to what was going on because he was only accustomed to seeing girls in skirts but this was definitely something new for him. But that was not all.
The Christian parents were also reportedly informed about how both of their kids were not using the desired pronouns or even adopted names that would now be seen as clear traits for people exhibiting transphobic behavior.
Previously, both mother and father of the children had pulled their kids out of a former school over a dispute regarding uniform.
Now, the couple says that their six-year-old child came home in the most confused state, and when he was questioned why, the response they got was how a boy showed up to school wearing a dress.
For this reason, both members of the couple are beyond baffled at what rules the school is putting forward for young students, adding how the rules were just too complex for any young child to understand.
But instead of hearing out the parents’ views, the school was abrupt to blame the child and not their rules, declaring how he was on the verge of being called transphobic after behaving this way.
The parents also shed light on how horrified they became when the school informed them that if a child shows an inability to believe that a trans person is actually a real female or male, then they’re going to be viewed as transphobic in today’s society.
