JUST IN: Vaccines For Monkeypox RUN OUT Just One Week After Pride Weekend Ends


It’s only been a short time since many people around the globe feel comfortable about the COVID-19 threat dwindling down and life returning back to normalcy.

However, with that comes news about the threat related to another pandemic, and this time around, it’s related to the Monkeypox virus.

As it is, the World Health Organization was seen declaring the condition as one that’s nothing less than a health emergency. But wait, the panic doesn’t end there as new news reports are speaking about the possible shortage of the vaccine involved.

Brighton was recently seen celebrating Pride Weekend and as you can expect many gay couples were in close proximity to one another. And that just spells disaster for obvious reasons.

The city had just welcomed hundreds of thousands of travelers from all over to celebrate Pride in full swing. And that led to a splurge in Monkeypox virus cases.

And now, we’ve got confirmed reports about how the local rollout of vaccines related to the condition has been halted until a further fresh stock of vaccines arrives. However, we’d be waiting on that for a whole new month because that’s when the expected delivery time has been outlined to be.

Local Labour MP Lloyd Russell Moyle was recently seen confirming the news, adding how it was only those with existing appointments that would be receiving the dose.

So far, Brighton has seen 69 cases of Monkeypox and although that really does sound very less, the truth of the matter is that it’s the greatest out of any other location situated out of London.

The news comes just one weekend after we were able to witness 280,000 people on average, make their way inside the city to celebrate the famous gay pride festival.

As far as the total number of Monkeypox vaccine stocks left in the British storage are concerned, well, that’s just 5000 doses. And sources think that’s enough to vaccinate just 2,500 people.
