Though Congress passed the first major gun control bill in three decades just two weeks ago in response to the Uvalde school shooting, Biden insisted more is to be done to counter gun violence and mass shootings.

“But there is much more work to do, and I’m not going to give up fighting the epidemic of gun violence,” he added.

“When we look at the issue of gun violence, and when we look at the dangers that it presents to communities, it ranges and it is something that we should take very seriously. The President recently signed bipartisan legislation to address the issue of gun violence but we clearly have much more to do,” she said.
