A Winter Wonderland ride at London’s Hyde Park has reportedly snapped and crashed with passengers still present inside.
The horrifying amusement park tragedy caused widespread chaos and panic across the board, leaving witnesses shocked and shaken to the core.
Two people were believed to have had a terrifying experience after the famous slingshot ride that they were present in suddenly snapped and fell down to the ground. Moreover, those present at the scene managed to record the live footage on their mobile phones, allowing the video to go viral as we speak.
The couple was seen boarding the ride at the famous Hyde Park which is known to be a popular attraction spot for both locals and tourists from abroad during this cold and festive time of year. But who knew the dreams of many would-be ruined as one of their leading rides came to a terrifying standstill after falling down to the ground?
For those who may not be aware, such rides are usually powered by the likes of a spring machine. This applies plenty of pressure to the bands that hold the metal orb.
The duo boarded the little capsule which is known to be shot in the air by the ride. But what the riders were not prepared for was the ride snapping with them inside.
As the operator pressed the button, it was absolute chaos and the structure connecting the capsule broke, causing the capsule to slam down to the ground.
Thankfully, both teenage boys were left unharmed and without any injuries. But the incident was a reality check for the amusement park to carry out a strict check of all rides before reopening for other visitors.
