New developments have been made regarding a rollercoaster tragedy incident that took place on Sunday at the Royal Melbourne Show.
Paramedics were seen rushing to the scene after a young victim slammed into the ground after falling out of her seat. But now, new confirmations are coming in from witnesses present at the scene of the tragedy.
According to them, the victim named Shylah Rodden was hit and carried nine meters before she slammed down against the ground. Moreover, she was seen being treated for her fatal injuries as rescue services rushed to the scene.
Others present on the ride were reportedly left stranded in the middle at the ride’s top as authorities arrived and shut it down to prevent more casualties. But keeping other riders hanging was being criticized as many were fearful as to what went wrong and wanted to get off immediately.
Some claims have also arisen regarding the woman trying to retrieve her cell phone. But there is no confirmation on such rumors yet, authorities mentioned.
The victim suffered from horrific brain damage after the shocking incident and other serious injuries to her body after taking a massive plunge into the ground.
At the moment, the 26-year-old can be seen in the intensive care unit after her incident on Sunday as her parents request authorities to speed up the investigation and hold those accountable for the terror.
Her father says there is a weird mystery surrounding what exactly went on and how his daughter fell down from the ride called The Rebel Coaster.
“There are so many stories going around and I don’t know which ones are true”- the father explained.
He also felt a lot of people were busy covering up their dirt and tracks related to the matter.
And he hoped the investigation would bring about more details as to what went wrong and why his daughter has been left in this debilitating condition.Recommended Video For You!
