Terrifying reports coming in from Cincinnati have spoken about an active shooter located at Princeton High School.
Local media outlets have confirmed that police squads are responding to the scene of the crime as the story is developing at this moment.
The news was recently confirmed by the Sharonville Police Department who say they received multiple calls related to an active shooter but failed to give out any more details on the situation as it was just developing.
The high school is known to have around 1600 students.
Meanwhile, the Cincinnati Police Department has also spoken about a SWAT team being reported at the educational institution.
Now, sources claim the whole event was a hoax, and Sharonville police have confirmed that. They called it a major hoax and Lt. Walter Cordes informed FOX19 NOW how the cops did get reports of the matter and it really startled them.
The police added that they got similar reports from a number of other districts on Friday. And while the first one came in at 10 am in the morning, the rest followed up soon.
“Someone from the educational institution called up 911 and said there was a shooter inside. And he even went as far as revealing how a total of 10 people got injured”- another cop confirmed. And that’s how media outlets began publishing more information, causing fury and panic around town.
In the 911 recording that was released, the caller says the shooter went from one classroom to the next. He continually opened fire on all the students. Around ten got injured, the caller adds. They even described how he was loaded with weapons including a pack of bullets and an AR-15 rifle. But in the end, it just proved to be a mega hoax.
