A 50-year-old daycare owner has reportedly pleaded guilty to shooting her partner who was known for molesting young kids.
According to reports from local media outlets, the daycare owner explained how she felt so bad to hear that her own husband was busy abusing young kids at the same daycare that she owned.
The incident infuriated her and she decided to take matters into her own hands by shooting him in the leg. “I wished to paralyze him. Yes, he was my spouse but after I learned about what he did to those kids, I just couldn’t believe it”- she continued.
The woman was identified as Shanteari Weems who hails from Maryland. She pleaded guilty today to four charges and will now face up to two years in prison.
The woman shot her partner at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in July, and that was moments after a mother informed her of her husband’s sick actions.
“She told me had abused her child. I knew a mother could never be lying. I was sick to my stomach”- Shanteari explained.
As far as having any regrets are concerned, well, this woman says she has none. In fact, she knows that whatever she did, her husband deserved it. But seeing the way law enforcement authorities and the judicial system is acting against her has loved ones baffled.
“She was trying to get rid of evil in society, she does not deserve this behavior”- mentioned one of her loved ones.
