BREAKING: Two Planes CRASH Mid-Air Leaving Several People Dead


Several people are presumed dead after two planes collided mid-air just outside Dallas, Texas.

According to Dallas Morning News, Dallas Fire-Rescue spokesperson Jason Evans confirmed that the collision took place at Dallas Executive Airport on Saturday at approximately 1.30 pm.

Involved in the crash were two historic aircraft including a fighter plane Bell P-63 Kingcobra and a heavy bomber B-17 Flying Fortress.

As the preliminary reports confirmed, the two planes were performing a flyover as part of the Dallas WWII Airshow at the time of the incident.

While the circumstances leading to the crash aren’t entirely clear yet, it is believed that the crash occurred after the Kingcobra approached Flying Fortress via its blind spot.

Both planes crashed to the ground after the collision, prompting several dozen firefighters to rush to the scene.

While Kingcobra is a single-pilot fighter plane, up to 11 crew members can fly on the Flying Fortress.

The official death toll has yet to be confirmed, but ABC News producer Jeffrey Cook has since suggested that six people – all of the crew members involved in the crash – are believed to be dead.

In footage of the collision, the two aircraft are seen smashing into each other at high speed before immediately plunging to the ground.

“The videos are heartbreaking. Please say a prayer for the souls who took to the sky to entertain and educate our families today,” Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson said as he called the crash a “terrible tragedy in our city.”

The incident remains under investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration.
