A mother is sharing a desperate plea for help as fears grow for her missing son.
According to reports from local media outlets, the 22-year-old boy suddenly disappeared while studying abroad in France. She has zero clue about his whereabouts and just wishes he would pick up his phone to let her know that he is safe.
Her appeals are being heard by officials in the US and that’s why the FBI has intervened to join in on the search.
The student has been named as 22-year-old Ken DeLand who was last seen at an Alps Sports Store during the morning hours of 9 am on December 3rd.
His parents claim they last had contact with him on November 27 but his phone no longer pings.
The tragic part that makes his parents so worried is how his phone no longer rings and that’s a dangerous sign that they wish they could somehow get toward the bottom of.
What is even more tragic is how the college student was supposed to make his way back home to his family to celebrate the holiday season this week.
Meanwhile, more chaos is taking place with the investigations as the FBI has opted to intervene and assist with the search.
But the police in France say they are not able to share some information regarding the case due to their privacy laws and that’s what’s making matters worse.
Ken’s mom says she messages her son each day. She tells him that she is always by his side and he can talk to her about anything. She just wants him to please pick up the phone and let her know that he is alright and that he is safe.
