Pete Davidson is reportedly undergoing trauma therapy to deal with the abuse he suffered at the hands of Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband.
In the months leading to the break-up of Kim and Pete, the SNL host was repeatedly exposed to online harassment and threats made by Kanye West, the socialite’s ex-husband and the father of her four children.
Most recently, on Monday, the rapper posted a picture showing a fake New York Times newspaper with the following headline in the center: “Skete Davidson Dead At Age 28.”
Previously, the singer also raised concerns for his mental health after sharing a disturbing music clip that showed Davidson getting buried alive.
Now, it has been revealed that West’s antics led the 28-year-old TV personality to seek professional help in dealing with his trauma.
“He’s had to seek out help… [due to] the attention and negativity coming from Kanye and his antics,” a source close to Davidson told People magazine.
The insider went on to claim that Pete “has no regrets for dating Kim and wants it to be made very clear that she’s been nothing but supportive of him throughout their relationship.”
They also confirmed that going forward the young actor “just wants to focus on his career.”
The news comes shortly after DailyMail.com revealed that Kim and Pete broke up due to issues around their demanding personal schedules and long distance caused by Davidson’s filming of the movie Wizards! in Australia.
Despite going separate ways, the pair are believed to have ended their relationship on good terms with one insider suggesting they will remain friends.
