The mother of a woman is speaking out about how she advised her daughter to get rid of her pet dog, moments before it mauled her to death.
According to local media outlets, Joanne Robinson was killed by her American bully XL pet at her residence in July. Moreover, her mom named Dot claims she warned her on several occasions because she noticed how wild the pet had become.
Now, she is calling for action and says too many people are being killed in dog attacks and wants to raise her voice on the matter.
“I knew for a fact that something bad was going to happen. I had that gut feeling and it’s a motherly instinct. I wish I had done so much more!”- the grieving mother cried.
43-year-old Joanne Robinson passed away in a horrifying and tragic dog attack when her pet American Bully XL dog named Rocco decided to attack her all of a sudden. He is believed to have turned mad in the extreme heat, local media outlets confirmed.
The mother died at the scene of the attack in South Yorkshire, as confirmed by her partner recently. The latter was also attacked and left with critical injuries to his hands and stomach as well as his face.
Rocco is believed to have attacked the family’s other dog named Lola. And that’s when the mother felt it was time to issue a grave warning to her daughter to get rid of the pet before it was too late.
Unfortunately, her worst fears did end up coming true.
The mother’s children are devastated as is her partner. They simply can’t imagine a life without her and are finding it extremely difficult to cope with the loss.
