Despite plenty of rumors taking center stage regarding the Duke and Duchess of Sussex striking a peace deal with the new Monarch, King Charles III, they are heading back empty-handed.
According to local media outlets, the couple is all set to make their way out of Windsor and go home to Los Angeles where their young kids await them.
The news comes despite controversial reports about Meghan Markle issuing a letter to King Charles III for a one-on-one meeting that went viral but it appears that it didn’t take place as Royal commentators state no peace deal has been initiated between both parties.
But the couple’s close friend and leading journalist Gayle King says that efforts were made from both sides so it’s not a complete loss for either of them. In fact, there were some great highs, and seeing the side reunite and exchange smiles was definitely a sigh of relief, not to mention a much-needed icebreaker.
Gayle King continued how the rift is definitely there and can’t heal so soon but there were a lot of positives to take back home for the couple and they’re going to like where they stand in terms of relations with the Royal family.
Many fans and followers felt a meeting with King Charles would clear the air but not seeing that take place did disappoint quite a few people.
“It remains to be seen if this shared grief will end up in a ceasefire of hostilities or not. But things are looking brighter than before”- Gayle concluded.
