Adam Harrison, the son of ‘Pawn Stars’ star Rick Harrison, has passed away at the age of just 39.
According to the reports, Adam died on Friday, whereas TMZ revealed that the cause of death was an overdose.
The circumstances surrounding the young man’s death currently remain unclear, and the case is under investigation by the Las Vegas Metro Police Department.
Out of Rick Harrison’s children, Adam was known as the one with the most private life. He not only stepped away from his father’s show after initially helping him out but also didn’t have a strong presence on social media.
It was previously suggested Adam didn’t want to be associated with the renowned Gold & Silver Pawn Shop because he wanted to pave his own way.
Meanwhile, Adam’s brother Corey, Rick’s oldest child, remained the star of the show that has been running for 22 seasons since its launch in 2009.
Following the tragic news, Harrison paid a heartfelt tribute to his second child.
“You will always be in my heart! I love you Adam,” he captioned a photo showing the father and son duo having a good time at a restaurant.
The Harrison family rep has also spoken out to confirm the overdose claims while requesting privacy on behalf of Adam’s loved ones.
Rick’s social media accounts have since the tragic announcement been flooded with tributes.
“So sorry for your loss Rick. My condolences to you and your family,” one fan wrote.
“So very sorry for your loss.. my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family,” another said.
