Shocking reports coming in from Georgia have revealed how a pastor and his wife were reportedly arrested for imprisoning people against their will.
According to local media reports, Curtis Keith and his wife Sophia were recently arrested by cops who showed up at their residence to find the unthinkable.
The evil couple had locked up to eight disabled residents inside their home’s basement against their free will.
The basement was located in a secret location behind a deadbolted door so that only those who knew about it would be able to enter.
But when cops arrived, they were more than horrified and shocked to see the disabled citizens inside their basement. But the horror didn’t end there as one paramedic was called in to assist one of the citizens who reportedly suffered from a seizure. He was forced to enter the residence and reach the basement via a window, which added suspicion and forced him to inform cops about the seriousness of the situation.
The victims located inside the basement were noted to fall in the age groups of between 25 and 65. Moreover, they all had some sort of physical and mental disability too, the cops revealed.
On the other hand, Pastor Curtis has gone on to refute any reports that stated the victims were being held against their will. “They were free to come in and go as per their liking,” he boldly stated.
But authorities had a different story when they spoke about how all the caretakers were leasing the property for nearly 14 months and had used the basement as a personal care home for these citizens, which would essentially go about imprisoning them against their free will.
Cops also spoke about how a deadbolt was used to lock the door during certain times of the day that would prevent those patients from moving in and out.
