One young woman is opening up about how her parents found out at the last minute that she was an adult film star and for that reason, they refused to attend her law graduation ceremony.
The woman who identifies as Scarlett Jones mentioned that she was moments away from her biggest day of getting her law degree. But little did she know about the rude awakening in store for her.
“My parents had no idea that I had been making so much money as a s*x worker. But the fact that they missed my graduation wasn’t something that I was expecting by miles,” she explained.
The law graduate also shed light on how her parents were deeply religious and Catholic, and just the thought of a child being involved in such behavior was something that blew their minds for obvious reasons.
While Scarlet says she spent three long and hard years working for her degree, she doesn’t have any regrets about the decisions that she made in life. Moreover, she claims that it’s just tough luck that they missed an opportunity to see their daughter shine and be rewarded for her hard work.
“I used to spent my day in such a way that I studied at the University of Sheffield and then I made some extra cash by being a s*x worker”- she boldly says.
It goes without saying that the young woman’s parents were highly ashamed and disappointed with the news that broke out to them like an absolute bombshell. In the same way, their reaction comprised of absolute shock and fury.
Now, six months down the line, her parents have still not spoken to her or even tried to make the effort to contact her. She even says that they’ve literally blocked her out of their lives which she deems to be insane.
