Hearbreaking details about the victims who passed away in the senseless Oxford High School tragedy have been revealed by the police.
According to media reports, three victims who were killed in the deadly arsenal incident on Tuesday were identified, with many sending out prayers and tributes to their grieving loved ones.
The school shooter gunned down three of his classmates, causing widespread chaos across the entire school in Detroit. But now, authorities reveal how the shooter had also posted up an image of a gun online before he embarked upon his deadly rampage.
In the same way, officers were also pictured removing armfuls of weapons from the arrested shooter’s residence, right after breaking news reports spoke about how he made use of his father’s weapon to carry out the bloody rampage.
According to local media outlets, the suspect’s dad purchased a 9mm Sig Sauer last Friday, as confirmed by Oakland’s Sheriff Michael Bouchard.
The Sheriff revealed how the shooter practiced various shootings with the gun, which could be confirmed via a series of images he posted online comprising of a target and his weapon.
“It is according to my understanding that this gun was a recently purchased weapon that he was using for shootings,” the Sheriff revealed.
On the other hand, the victims who were identified in the heartbreaking tragedy included 16-year-old Tate Myre, 14-year-old Hata St. Juliana, and 17-year-old Madisyn Baldwin. But it is still not clear whether or not these students were targeted in particular as an investigation into the horrifying tragedy continues.
One of the victims named Tate was declared to be a standout player for the high school’s football team and he is reported to have passed away from his injuries while being transported to the hospital. Morover, some reporters spoke about how he displayed bravery and attempted to disarm the shooter too.
