Tragic reports being presented in court speak about a young teen who died from a single punch that took place during a brawl outside a nightclub.
According to reports from local media outlets, the tragic incident took place last August during a bank holiday weekend in South Tyneside.
The victim was identified as 19-year-old Steven Thompson who was attacked on the streets. He was rushed by the paramedics to a nearby medical facility where he tragically died.
The cops identified a suspect by name of Ian Hall who is 41 but he denies taking part in the crime at South Shields and also denied all charges put against him in the name of manslaughter too. At the moment, he is being tried by a jury at the Newcastle Crown Court.
On the other hand, two more suspects named Leon Wildgoose and Dylan Ford who hail from South Shields have also pleaded guilty to the charges outlined by the cops.
The court heard about a huge disturbance breaking out outside Roxanne’s nightclub. The teen was busy socializing that evening with his group of friends. He headbutted another man and then hit or headbutted Mr. Thompson. They both landed on the ground.
Moreover, the court also heard about Mr. Thompson being attacked by the two younger individuals who managed to get on their feet again after the fight. They were taken across the road and that’s when it was Wildgoose’s turn to throw in a few major punches from which he simply could never get up from the ground.
A written statement was sent out by the Home Office Pathologist Dr. Jennifer Bolton who claims it was indeed this final punch that took the life of the teen and knocked him to the ground, killing him instantly from the massive head injury he received.
This further led to his loss of consciousness, complete cardiac arrest, and finally his death in the end.
