Just when you thought the world we live in couldn’t get any more stranger comes a new incident involving teachers and the principal at the Oregon Elementary School.
According to reports from local media outlets, teachers at the renowned elementary school are now bringing forward their complaints comprising of both micro and macro aggressions that are being directed against the institution’s black principal.
According to the teachers who are also black and stand firmly for their rights, they claim the principal has been subjected to all sorts of aggression and rude behavior. And this includes the presence of harsh emails being directed toward her too.
Now, the teachers are claiming that they’ve had enough and for that reason, they are uniting as one as news has broken that the principal could well be on her way out of the job, thanks to the great number of alleged aggressions.
The teachers have gone as far as making a new list that’s filled with the ‘agressive’ behavior and you just might be shocked to learn how eye-rolling is at the top of the list.
Yes, the teachers believed rolling of the eyes is beyond racist. And ever since they’ve decided to unite and bring forward the issues, they’ve been forced to deal with name-calling and a label that calls divisive for bringing up the matter.
Therefore, now, the group has gone about asking the school’s administrators to make sure the BIPOC staff are being supported.
For those who may not be aware, BIPOC is the abbreviation for the term black, indigenous, and people of color.
“We believe all the hate that is coming towards the principal has to do with bias and racism. She is being targeted and we’ve been witness to it all”- the teachers mentioned.
