The student nurse who reportedly went missing in Hampshire around seven weeks back has been found alive and well, the authorities have confirmed.
According to local media outlets, Owami Davies was reported to be alive, well, and in good spirits. The news has brought about a huge sigh of relief for her parents, the authorities, and friends who have been frantically searching for clues regarding her whereabouts.
The police had declared an emergency search mission as they feared for her welfare as they failed to trace her down. Moreover, a lot of assistance was even called for as the mystery regarding the case deepened with time.
But now, thankfully, her missing person’s inquiry has been removed after her safe retrieval.
The nurse is believed to have left her family home in Grays in Essex on July 4. Her location remained a mystery for so long.
Sources added how the Scotland Yard was seen receiving reports of nearly 118 sightings before her real discovery was made.
The family was given constant hope and support regarding the matter as more and more fears relating to the 24-year-old’s safety were made. She was last seen walking in a northern direction along the London Road that is located in Croydon.
Davies informed her mom that she was on her way to the gym but after that, mysteriously disappeared for seven weeks.
Despite the victim being retrieved today, after a sighting being made by one member of the public, the police have received harsh critics for taking so long to trace her down.
As far as the cause for her mysterious disappearance is concerned, well, that’s yet to be revealed. The police and detectives are staying hush on the matter as investigations continue.
