The nurse accused of killing eight innocent baby girls and also murdering 10 other infants has arrived in court for her trial to begin.
According to local media reports, Nurse Lucy Letby appeared in front of the court, just ahead of her trial, where she will stand a trial after being accused of the most horrific crimes.
The nurse reportedly murdered eight baby girls and boys and planned an attempted murder of 10 more infants during her killing spree that lasted more than a year.
The 32-year-old nurse worked in the hospital’s neonatal unit of a renowned hospital called the Countess of Chester Hospital where she conducted her crimes between June 2015 and June 2016.
The accused has been identified as Nurse Lucy Letby who is 32 years old and a graduate of Chester University. Moreover, shocking reports also revealed how she was also once the face of a fundraising campaign that was reportedly estimated to be worth 3 million Pounds.
The accused recently appeared via a video link at the Chester Crown Court from her prison in Surrey today.
Meanwhile, the grieving loved ones of the innocent victims also appeared to be listening to the hearing, waiting for justice to be served.
A total of five baby boys and three baby girls were murdered at the hands of the evil nurse while she faces charges relating to the attempted murder of five more baby girls and five baby boys.
The court has reportedly prohibited the revealing as well as the reporting of the identities of the victims involved in the case who were either killed or attacked by the nurse. In the same way, they have also gone about prohibiting the identification of the parents as well as witnesses involved too.
