One woman was reportedly left unhappy after her divorce settlement because the court ordered her to return an album filled with racy images of her back to her husband.
According to local media outlets, the album was filled with intimate images and explicit texts that she had made the man, who was her partner at that time. But little did she realize that she would have to surrender these images as a part of their divorce settlement.
On most occasions, we see people fighting over assets and cash, and property, but in this court battle, the topic of discussion was an album that the woman says was nothing less than p**n.
“It has made me very unhappy. I just don’t know what to say about this other than the fact that I’m so disappointed. I wish things were so much more different”- she continued.
Lindsay Marsh who hails from Utah says she made the famous ‘boudoir album’ for her husband as a sacred gift from her to him. But with their divorce getting finalized in July, she remembered that since it had all intimate images of her, she wanted it back.
But the husband refused and when the battle arrived at court, the judge felt the collected needed to be given to the husband as the words inside are maintained for the sake of memory.
They came to a conclusion on how the images could be handed over after undergoing the process of editing so that anything n*de or explicit could be hidden from view.
As you can expect, the woman felt violated over the matter. It was definitely not the decision that she was looking forward to.
“It’s just so violating and incredibly embarrassing for obvious reasons. I feel humiliated and violated at the same time! These are things that are very private, sensual, and loving. He’s my ex so he has no right over them!”- she concluded.
For now, she’s filed an appeal and hopes the decision can be looked at again, from a better perspective.
