A woman dying from terminal cancer says she may have never married in her lifetime but she certainly did end up getting the feeling related to the magic of weddings.
It’s all thanks to her best pals that arranged something that she’ll remember during her final days.
Kerry Kenworthy says when she was diagnosed with terminal cancer, she began to imagine more about all the things that she couldn’t do in her lifetime. It was like this big void had been left behind.
But her friends knew that there was no way that they could let her go without sharing some special memories. Hence they took her by surprise by going the extra mile of arranging a wedding ceremony.
It was a staged ceremony that only her nearest and dearest loved ones reportedly took part in. “We wanted Kerry to have her fairytale moment. She deserves nothing but the best. And we just could not let her go like this”- they went on to reveal.
“I did not marry my husband, I ended up marrying my best pal in the act”- Kerry mentioned. And she says the whole ordeal was just beautiful, from start to finish.
Her wedding day was one that she had always dreamt of. And that is what made her friends put in the extra effort. The 34-year-old single mother was diagnosed with cervical cancer at such a young age.
This was not something she or anyone was prepared to face. But it was a bitter reality for her. “It’s tough but so is life, I try to take in each moment, one step at a time”- she went on to add.
