One mother is being trolled online after revealing her intentions of keeping a check on her 27-year-old daughter.

Speaking to an online forum, the mother explained how she has the right to invade her child’s privacy because she was the mother. But people are baffled at her thoughts and intentions regarding the whole matter.

While it’s true that when you’re a parent, you tend to be awfully worried about your kids and you should be. But many felt that 27 was a decent age for a woman to be able to handle herself and not worry about parents sticking their noses in her business.

Others bashed the mother for even opting to think about something like this as people this age deserve the right to privacy and independence so they can grow on their own.

The mother says she is not worried about what trolls and others have to say about her. She gets worried about her daughter and what she’s up to.

So for her own good and the mother’s peace of mind, she wants to install a tracking device that gives her alerts about her whereabouts.

The mother was even seen providing a little justification for the behavior that netizens were bashing her for. She says that her daughter would be taking a solo trip to Asia.

She would be in a destination that isn’t too familiar to her and to make sure she’s safe, the mom wants her to install the app so she knows she is alright at all times.

“I just do not know what the issue is over here. I am concerned for my child’s safety, that’s it! Why is that so hard for so many individuals to understand!”- she concluded.
