The council in Birmingham city is being blasted for being so heartless and inconsiderate after they forced a family of eight to move out of their own household and shift into two separate homes.
The family says that they’ve been torn apart due to the carelessness of the council that reportedly refused to use their common sense and solve the matter.
“They couldn’t find us a big enough home. We are a family of eight and we do deserve better”- the family was seen ranting on social media.
The mom named Rebecca Fenner says she now lives inside a one-bed home and has four of her kids by her side. She just feels she has enough of this drama because it’s not making any sense anymore for her.
Meanwhile, her husband and the father of her kids are now on the other side of the road and that’s a staggering 250 feet away. That home encases the couple’s eldest girls, sources explained.
The mother says she and her four kids are living in just one room in Yardley on one side of Coventry Road in a double bed and bunk bed but there is no space for cots.
There is a similar-sized home that can be found on the other side of the road that costs a staggering 200,000 Pounds.
The young school girls have been left with no decision but to stay on the property and sleep there at times when their dad is not working. But the mom says living like this is just terrifying and they won’t continue for too long.
The family was reportedly kicked out of their own residence when their landlords made their way to the country from Egypt. Hence, now they’re desperate and pleading for help, hoping someone can assist them along the way.
