Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall was struck with awfully distressing news this morning.

According to local media reports, her cousin was found dead in his hotel room, leaving the entire family shocked and in grief.

It is believed that the victim was in the middle of one of the UK’s longest divorce battles of all time but it clearly managed to take a toll on him in the end.

Sources added that while investigations into the mysterious circumstances of his death continue to take place as we speak, there are some clear indications providing how he may have ended up taking his own life. Still, there is no news on that as of yet as the Palace is not issuing any comments on the matter.

Charles Villiers had spent eight long years in a divorce battle with his wife Emma Villiers.

The couple was believed to have taken separate paths in the year 2012 and then filed for divorce, just two years later in 2014. But there were said to be some heated arguments taking place during the week in which his death ensued. And that’s why many believe that may have something to do with it.

As mystery grows, so are the speculations as the news really has shocked both Camilla and Charles.

The victim’s divorce battles always hit the headlines. It was not only a long and intense legal affair but a very publicized one as well. For instance, one report spoke of a police investigation when accusations of bigamy were hurled against Mrs. Villers. But those claims had later been dismissed.

A report by The Times says a housekeeper found the victim dead in the room at the Durrants Hotel last week. This was during the same period when he had been declared bankrupt as well.
