The war may soon be entering into its fifth week but that’s not stopping young Ukrainian mothers from defending their city from Russian invaders.
Two young women are revealing to the world that true patriotism only comes from within and that’s why they’re ready to kill and be killed for the sake of their land.
30-year-old Olena Lolesnyk and 33-year-old Kamila Suleymanova say they are doing everything in their power to protect the city of Odesa from being controlled by the Russians.
Despite having young babies by their side, the two mothers appear to be in a unit together which is deemed to be Ukraine’s last resort for defense from brutal and evil invaders.
Before the conflict with Russia began, both of these women had very different jobs, roles, and responsibilities.
From earning money with their usual routine to looking after family- it was nothing too out of the usual.
But today, these women claim they’re a part of the country’s defense force, moments after Russian warships issued threats to destroy the city’s ancient port.
The blonde hair beauty named Olena says that seeing their city be captured by the Russian military is not something they could stand seeing. Therefore, they’ve joined Ukraine’s army without letting their loved ones know.
Both women gave their respective accounts about how they try not to think about what will happen if they die along the way. But they did confirm how they are absolutely prepared to protect their city, family, and their country too.
And if that means giving up their lives to protect all that they love, then so be it.
