One breastfeeding mother is going viral after giving a stranger the perfect response after he told her to ‘cover up’ in public.

While most mothers would probably get offended or walk away, this bold woman showed the world that breastfeeding is absolutely normal and needs to be promoted in public, despite many people’s reservations.

Rather than indulging in a heated verbal agreement with the stranger, the mother played it smart and opted to add a little bit of humor to her response. And clearly, it was not the reaction that he was expecting by miles. But what did she say to shut him down?

Melanie Dudley says she opted to nurse her 3-month-old child at the corner of a restaurant in Cabo when all of a sudden, the man approached her from nowhere and asked her to cover up.

“I was left totally speechless at this man’s audacity and command towards me. I didn’t even know him,” she revealed.

But this mother of three added how she was not going to back down and opted to take his ‘pushy’ request to another level by literally listening to him and throwing a blanket on top of her head and face.

“As it is, I’m usually discreet when it comes to matters like this but I was in a little corner and seated at the very back of the diner. I had my cover on but it was so hot like 95 degrees so my baby started to sweat. Hence, I lifted it for a bit and that’s when he opted to cover over his demand,” she revealed.

Her husband opted to jump right in and quickly took an image of the silly moment, which the mom later shared on social media. Right after that, the incident has received plenty of positive feedback and shares like this one perfect way to shut down trolls like that stranger. Do you agree?
