A woman has made headlines after fighting off her home invaders using a mosquito killer.
21-year-old Tiffany Kendon from Brisbane, Australia, is a proud mother of a 2-year-old toddler and a 1-month-old son who was left traumatized after three armed men forced their way into her Wishart home.
The incident reportedly took place on Tuesday night when Tiffany was in her bedroom with her partner and their two young children.
It is believed the suspects are linked to the car crash that occurred outside the mother’s home on Monday, a day before the break-in. According to the reports, the suspects believed that the handgun they lost in the crash was taken by Kendon, hence their return to the scene and the terrorizing of the innocent family.
“It never happened [me taking their gun]. They were told I saw the gun and I talked to police,” Tiffany recalled in an interview with Courier Mail.
“They came in the front door and the back door, three of them, all in their 20s. They were yelling at us, ‘give us our gun back, we know you have it, where’s our f***ing gun.’”
At the time of the break-in, Kendon was in her room upstairs with her babies fearing for her family’s safety.
“The main guy came upstairs with a taser and I was like, ‘get the f*** out, I have a newborn, get out of my house,’” she added.
“I thought I could push him down the stairs, but then I saw the can of spray. I sprayed him in the eyes and he clicked the taser at the same time and it went up in flames. I then had a 1.5m flame on me and pushed him down the stairs.”
After using the mosquito spray to create fire and distract the invaders, Tiffany managed to scare the men enough to get them to leave her home and flee the scene.
As of this writing, all three suspects remain on the loose and the manhunt continues.
