The evil mother of 16-month-old Star Hobson is a ‘marked woman’ in prison after she was convicted of allowing her child’s death.
20-year-old Frankie Smith was sentenced to eight years behind bars and is now serving at HMP New Hall in West Yorkshire.
Her partner, 28-year-old Savannah Brockhill, was convicted of murder and sentenced to a minimum of 25 years in prison.
Star, who suffered months of neglect, cruelty, and torture, was only 16 months old when she was murdered in September 2020.
Speaking to The Sun Online, a source said of Smith: “She’s a marked woman and it won’t be long before someone gets to her.
“She’s on the lifers’ wing so there are plenty of women with very little to lose who will attack her for the price of a few bars of chocolate or some toiletries.”
According to reports, Smith will eat her meals alongside other prisoners on the Willow House wing.
The 20-year-old, who stood by as her partner punched, kicked and throttled her daughter, was cleared of murder but convicted of allowing or causing death.
Smith’s grandfather, 61-year-old David Fawcett, said to the Sunday People: “She phoned me on Thursday and she’s a little upset because they’re reviewing the sentence. People don’t think eight years is long enough.
“She’s upset about it, to be honest. She’s lost a daughter and has to live with that for the rest of her life, that’s all she talks about.”
One person commented: “I don’t know how any member of her family could want any contact with her ever again after what she inflicted on that beautiful little child.”
Another wrote: “Yeah. Bring it on, now who’s going to sort out the social worker’s and police officers who also should be in jail, for allowing what happened to that child.”
A third said: “Any prisoner who can commit serious injury to little Star and Arthur’s killers any 4 of these monsters will be a national hero!”
