A Texan mom-of-three went viral after warning fellow Americans that watching the Hocus Pocus 2 movie could result in serious consequences for their families.
Urging parents to think twice before allowing their children to watch the beloved movie’s sequel, which features the original cast including Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy, 33-year-old Jamie Gooch from Troy said the movie could “unleash hell” on their homes and kids.
In a bizarre rant against the much-anticipated, PG-rated film that aired last week on Disney+, Gooch appeared to be on the verge of breaking into tears as she said she is grieved by the thought that our children are being exposed to “darkness.”
“After all, the whole movie is based on harvesting the purity of children’s souls so that witches may live on,” the devout Christian, who runs a farm with her husband, said.
“What is happening when we watch these films? What are we subjecting our minds to? What are we welcoming into the homes of our families?”
The mother-of-three went on to claim that the movie – though fictional – could cast evil spells on children and implicate their minds in evil doing.
“So before you hit play on the night of the premier of this movie, please ask yourself if not only your mind, but your children’s minds, are strong enough to ward off the hypnotization and bewitching trance that will be coming through your screen to aid the desensitization of the coming evil in this world.
“Don’t fall victim to the schemes of hell.”
Speaking to KWTX, Gooch added: “Everybody thinks it’s fake and innocent, but they could be casting any type of spell that they want to, anything could be coming through that TV screen and into your home.
“A worst case scenario is: You unleash hell on your kids and in your home.”
