The mother of Michigan school shooter Ethan Crumbley wrote a bizarre letter to President Donald Trump back in 2016.
Following the Tuesday mass shooting at Oxford High School, 15-year-old student Ethan Crumbley has been arrested and charged with one count of terrorism and four counts of murder after killing four students and injuring seven more.
It has since the shocking event come to light that both of the teen’s parents, Jennifer and James Crumbley, face charges of negligence for allowing their son to get his hands on his dad’s 9mm gun that was used in the school shooting.
Now, it has also emerged that Jennifer penned a strange open letter to Trump just moments after he got elected as President back in 2016.
In her letter, the mother thanked Trump for showing his support of the Second Amendment before taking aim at illegal immigration and the Common Core academic standards and blaming them for her son’s struggles in school.
“As a female and a Realtor, thank you for allowing my right to bear arms. Allowing me to be protected if I show a home to someone with bad intentions. Thank you for respecting that Amendment,” Jennifer wrote.
The woman also thanked the freshly-elected president for putting veterans first before complaining about spending too much money on international humanitarian aid.
In her letter, Jennifer also turned towards education as she appeared to blame her son’s struggles on the education system.
“You see Mr. Trump, I need you to stop Common Core. My son struggles daily and my teachers tell me they hate teaching it but the[y] have to. Their pay depends on these stupid f***ing test scores,” she added.
“I have to pay for a tutor, why? Because I can’t figure out fourth-grade math. I used to be good at math … [Now] I sacrifice car insurance to make sure my son gets a good education and hopefully succeeds in life.”
Mrs. Crumbley also took a jab at the children of “illegal immigrants” as she said they threaten her teacher mother for caring about them.
“Most of their parents are locked up. They don’t care about learning and threaten to kill my mom for caring about their grades,” she wrote.
“Do you realize Mr. Trump that they get free tutors, free tablets from our government so they can succeed? Why can’t my son get those things, do we as hard-working Americans not deserve that too.”
After applauding Trump and saying she had never had “this much belief in one person” before, Jennifer signed off the long rant saying: “A hardworking Middle Class Law Abiding Citizen who is sick of getting f***** in the *** and would rather be grabbed by the p****.”
