A 48-year-old mother from Blue Springs, Missouri, has been left with a concussion, two black eyes, and a broken nose after she protected her daughter from a gang of teenage girls.
Michelle Audo stopped the group of 14-year-olds when they arrived at their home looking to fight her 16-year-old daughter but she intervened right away.
The attack only ended when her husband and oldest daughter saw the situation and stepped in.
Audo said that her two daughters woke her husband up when a ‘carload’ of teens arrived at their home, according to Kansas City Star.
The mother was repeatedly punched during the attack, leaving her with a broken nose, a concussion, and two black eyes.
The police arrived at the scene but the teens and the driver had already left in a white vehicle.
One of the teens boasted about the attack on Snapchat, writing: “Imagine letting ur mom get her ass beat” and another post: “Tell yo mom to clean her blood off my window.”
The teens will face charges in Juvenile Court, said Jennifer Brady, PIO with the Blue Springs Missouri Police Department.
“We are waiting for the investigation to be completed before the charges are filed,” Brady said.
“The girls have not been arrested. One is looking at assault charges so far. It is not determined if the other teen will face charges.”
The relationship of the girls and whether they go to the same school were unclear.
In an interview with Daily Mail, Brady said that the girl listed as the offender is from Greenvale located on the border of Blue Springs.
“We take everything serious with every case we do,” she said.
