A 33-year-old Ukrainian was reportedly assaulted by a group of drunk Russian soldiers who stormed into her residence in Kyiv, moments after killing her husband.
Tragic reports from local media outlets revealed how the victim named Natalya was caught at gunpoint by two drunk Russian soldiers who barged into her residence.
The soldiers first shot her husband dead in the family home’s backyard while making their way toward her.
Natalya gave a horrifying account of how the soldiers continued to assault her for several hours while her four-year-old son wept away in tears.
“I could hear my young son crying. He was hiding in the boiler room in fear”- the mother of one continued.
Speaking for the first time since the tragedy took place, the Ukrainian mother says the culprits included a Russian commander and one of his soldiers that barged into her village and started making their way inside the house after the dark hours on March 9.
“They shot my husband Andrey dead in front of me. It was absolutely terrifying”- she cried in a heartbreaking manner while giving her account.
“Just a few moments later, I could hear them making their way inside my home. The commander of the Russian army told me his name was Mikhail Romanov. He had his younger solider with me who was dressed in black”- she continued with tears rolling down her face.
The mother of one ordered her son to stay in the home’s boiler room because she feared for his life. This is the same place where the family used to shelter themselves from constant shelling by Russian forces.
“He even pointed a gun towards my head and told me to keep quiet or else my son would see my brains around the house”- she elaborated further.
After ordering her to get naked, the men continued to s*xually assault her for several hours, one after the other.
For now, Natalya says her horrifying case is being investigated by a prosecutor general but it is said to be the latest in a string of shocking attacks upon so many innocent civilians in Ukraine.
