A baby was reportedly hospitalized twice after suffering from unexplainable bruises and vomiting issues, just months before she was brutally murdered.
An inquest into the tragic case of baby Ella-Rose by her godmother’s lover in January of 2018 has been reopened as the inquest heard gruesome details about the child’s medical history, just months before she died.
A pathologist explained how the only realistic explanation for the wounds that the baby suffered was physical abuse, yet he was unsure why the trained staff at the medical center where she was hospitalized twice for her injuries were not alerted about the signs of abuse.
The 22-month-old baby girl was subjected to the most brutal and wild attack conducted by Michael Wild, who is now serving a life sentence for the child’s murder, as reported by the Manchester Evening News.
The accused was the child’s godmother’s boyfriend who attacked the innocent soul while looking after her, as requested by his lover.
Meanwhile, the baby’s godmother was also charged for allowing the child’s death to occur, followed by two charges relating to persuading the court of justice to think something else. But since then, she has been released from jail.
But after these shocking claims, more reports about how the young baby stayed in the hospital for numerous reasons are being questioned. This includes how she suffered from bruising and vomiting, followed by giant swollen bruises before passing away in 2018.
There was even one sad occasion where her injuries were so severe that she needed surgery on the abdomen but even then, hospital staff at hand never paid attention to all the red flags relating to possible child abuse.
Hospital bosses where the child was treated have issued a statement relating to how there was definitely an ‘underestimation’ of the non-accidental injury, but many question negligence on their part.
