Two killer monkeys have reportedly been captured after taking part in the revenge massacre of 250 dogs.
According to local media reports, the evil monkeys took part in a horrifying revenge massacre, right after the dogs killed one of their babies.
For that reason, the primates reportedly slaughtered the pooches by dragging them towards the tops of the buildings as well as trees located at the Lavool Village, which is almost 300 miles east of Mumba. The monkeys then allegedly dropped the dogs to their deaths.
Meanwhile, the news spread like wildfire in the country as the official spokesperson for the Nagpur Forest Department revealed how both monkeys that were involved in the killing of so many puppies were captured.
As of now, the langur monkeys will not exactly face charges relating to a criminal offense when it comes to this mass murder. Instead, they are going to be shipped off towards the Nagpur side so they can be released at a nearby forest, as reported by the NDTV.
The murderous monkeys have also been reported as leaving the puppies on the roofs and trees, where they passed away due to a lack of water as well as food, as mentioned in a recent report stated by the Guardian.
On the other hand, a local official has gone on to reveal how there is little to no evidence showing that the monkeys were actually seeking some sort of revenge.
“We certainly have no proof to back up such a theory. It is animal behavior and there is no way possible to ascertain why those creatures were behaving in that sort of violent manner,” explained another district official.
Villagers spoke to news outlets recently, confirming how the monkeys began to carry out those killings nearly one month back and that’s when a number of dogs killed their infant.
