It was a moment of absolute drama recently when a woman went ballistic aboard a Southwest Airlines flight.
According to reports from local media outlets, the woman identified as 34-year-old Elom Agbegninou made dire attempts to open the plane’s door. This was when the aircraft was traveling 37,000 feet in the air.
The flight had reportedly taken off from Ohio and was on its way to Texas. But due to the dramatic moments that took place, it had to make an emergency landing in Arkansas.
One passenger that intervened was even bitten by the woman who thought it was alright to retaliate by chomping down on his leg.
The suspect says she got a message from Jesus that she needed to do it and that’s why she was aboard the flight in the first place.
Today, a trial has been scheduled to address the matter but some sources claim that her poor mental health status has forced the court of law to delay it further and put it on hold for now.
Throughout the flight, the flight attendants did everything in their power to make sure the environment was calm while trying their best to prevent the woman from conducting the crime. She continually got up from her seat and made her way to the exit, as confirmed by a recent complaint made by the Arkansas district court.
The victim who was bitten in the leg was treated with antibiotics later on and was stated to be suffering from PTSD.
“They kept on rushing toward the plane’s back to assist. I was literally thinking about the worst-case scenario that may be, the plane might crash. But I know the probably was low”- explained one witness aboard the flight.
