The tragic final moments of a teenage boy are now being revealed after he reportedly passed away from inhaling cheap deodorant at a sleepover.
The was identified as 16-year-old Bradley Hope who hailed from New South Wales. He passed away in December 2019, leaving his loved ones in a state of shock.
The victim was believed to have been involved in the direct inhalation of aerosol deodorant and that’s when he was reported to have suffered a seizure.
Hope was trying to get high on the cheap substance as revealed by his friend but he had no idea that it would end up killing him in the end.
His mother and his friend ended up dialing emergency services but according to medical experts, it was just too late.
The cause of death was outlined to be volatile substance misuse or chroming. It’s the act of deliberately inhaling fumes through aerosol deodorants.
Hence just a short while later, he suffered a mighty seizure and that is what led him to enter a state of cardiac arrest.
Meanwhile, a coronal inquest into his death is currently being held at the Byron Bay Local Court this past week. But again, experts claim that the damage had already been done and it was just too late to save him.
It was heartbreaking to learn that his friend and his friend’s mom had both tried to do CPR on him but it failed to work. And he was slowly slipping to his death.
While the hospital that received his body did commend the friend and her mom for their efforts in trying to revive him, they also stated that it was in vain.
