The hero fourth-grade teacher from Uvalde Nicole Ogburn is describing the chilling and most terrifying moments that she caught a glimpse of the Texas shooter.
She says she spotted Salvador Ramos making his way to the school’s entry gate and it was the most horrifying feeling ever.
She immediately decided to think fast and put on a movie for the kids that would keep them busy, right before their lunch recess. And that’s when she opted to call up 911 through her Apple watch for immediate assistance.
But then all of a sudden, she claims to have heard loud sounds of gunfire and it gave her chills, adding how the sounds were no different than that of a huge shovel slamming into the building walls.
And that’s when the teacher knew that she had no choice but to pray for her and her students because it was only God that would save them from this agonizing terror of the shooter.
“I saw the gunman’s silhouette enter through the window. I informed my kids that he has a gun and that they needed to act quickly and get on the ground to save themselves”- she explained in an emotional tone.
And then a few seconds later, she revealed how giant bullets began to rip through her window and smash the ceiling. Before she knew it, there were pieces of ceiling debris falling from everywhere on the head.
And despite all of that panic, she claims to have left her cellphone on her desk before realizing she could make the phone call through her Apple watch.
The entire class was ducked down in fear and they continued to pray and whimper, hoping the shooter wouldn’t target their classroom which was right next to the room being targeted at first.
“They just all continued to hold my hands and then one girl came up to me and started to whisper and cry, asking and praying God to help us all”- the teacher concluded.
