A terrifying report is shedding light on the tragic end to a hunt carried out by authorities for a missing mother.
Unfortunately, her hunt ended in a massive tragedy after authorities revealed her final activities being carried out right before her death.
According to local media outlets, the mother died just moments after sending out a final text to her daughter and some money.
The victim was identified as Debbie Collier, who hails from Athens, Georgia. She was reported missing on September 10, when her daughter was seen launching a complaint to authorities to help conduct a search and retrieve her safely. But little did she know that her mom would be dead.
The daughter is believed to have informed the police about some very concerning information, and she knew that her mom was in trouble as the behavior was bizarre and very unlike her.
Right before her disappearance, the mother was seen sending her daughter Bearden a sum of money close to $2500 through an online bank transfer app. This transaction amount was delivered to her daughter by her husband’s bank account.
In the same way, the mother was also sent a text message that stated, “They are not going to me go! Love you, there is a key to the house in the blue flower pot by the door,”- the message went on to reveal.
Despite making many frantic calls to reach her mother, the daughter just couldn’t get through after the payment was made. Hence, she feared for the worst, so she opted to get the authorities involved.
Just one after, the police found her rented SUV in the woodland area in Tallulah Falls, moments after they picked up details through satellite radio.
The mother’s body was located just a few miles from where her vehicle was retrieved, cops claim. Hence, an investigation has been launched to help recover more details of what exactly happened in this incident.
