A wife has reportedly shot her own husband after the daycare that she happened to own confirmed that he molested young children.
On Wednesday, a new arrest warrant had been issued against the wife’s name for carrying out the shooting. But she claims that she has zero regrets for her behavior and did absolutely nothing wrong.
“He deserved it. How could he? These are young and innocent children. They would be traumatized for life!”- the wife explained.
Meanwhile, state authorities carried out an investigation into the tragic incident, and confirmed that the reports related to child molestation were indeed correct.
At the moment, the suspect who happens to be a retired cop is battling for his life at a local hospital after sustaining critical injuries. Moreover, the incident is believed to have taken place in the state of Maryland as confirmed by local media outlets.
The suspect is accused of molesting three children who attended the same daycare that the suspect’s wife owned and operates. It is believed that the children came up to the wife whose name is Shanteari Weems and complained about her husband’s astonishing and horrifying behavior.
Weems says she had heard enough and knew that no children could ever make that up. On that note, she didn’t take a second to think before she fired a round of bullets inside the couple’s room at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel.
Sources explained how the cop had been rushed to the nearby hospital, where he continues to seek treatment. Meanwhile, there is yet to be any more information provided on the former cop’s condition.
The couple is believed to have entered into a huge argument about the abuse allegations that were made by the kids’ parents. It is believed that the former cop worked as a bus operator at the daycare for the past two years and that is why he had close contact with so many kids on a daily basis.
