Ukraine’s interior minister has reported that at least 352 innocent civilians have died since the start of the Russian military invasion.
According to local media reports, at least 1600 people were left wounded while the death rate stands at 352. The statistics were revealed on Sunday, just four days after the horrifying invasion had taken place.
Experts claim that the death toll has risen significantly and the situation is so bad that officials are now having a tough time cross-checking the bodies to confirm the figures.
Just yesterday, a massive explosion rocked a TV tower that reportedly killed 5 and wounded many others. The bodies of these victims were piled into a van and sent away.
Soldiers from Russia have gone on to speak about how so many bodies were just taken away and dumped away without any proper funeral taking place and the scenes were described by so many as gutwrenching beyond belief.
Meanwhile, the minister also shed light upon how 400 people have died as a result of the conflict in the past few days and these figures continue to spike with passing days.
“There have been at least 26 children who passed away or were wounded in the tragic and atrocious crimes against humanity by Putin”- mentioned one leader.
As the invasion heads into the second week, so many people fear for what is next like a giant 40-mile long military convoy extending near Kyiv, waiting to wreak havoc with artillery positioned directly at the capital.
The mayor of Kyiv has recently issued a grave warning to citizens to prepare for the worst as it is yet to come.
Some tragic stories are now surfacing including the death of an anesthesiologist as well as a police officer and even a young teenage girl who was slain with her parents.
