A 21-year-old Mexican singer was reportedly shot dead by her lawyer husband inside Mexico City recently.

According to reports from local media outlets, the victim was identified as 21-year-old Yrma Lydia who recently began her career in music. But little did anyone know that it would soon come to a tragic and abrupt end after she was shot dead by the man whom she loved the most.

The incident took place on Thursday during the later hours of the night at an upscale eatery called Suntory Del Valle which is present on the southern side of town.

The suspect is believed to be her partner, whom cops identified as a 79-year-old lawyer named Jesus Hernandez Alcocer.

Sources revealed how the lawyer shot her dead three times and is now being detained alongside another female who accompanied the suspect on that particular night of the tragedy.

Meanwhile, witnesses confirmed that an argument had taken center stage when a man with grey-toned hair became violent and started to shoot at the singer. And in the end, it was revealed that the suspect was her own husband.

But the lawyer tried his level best to bribe the cops so they could escape in his company and with the help of his security guard. But sadly, that did not work and he was arrested, alongside his guards too.

Witnesses added how the duo became deeply engaged in some sort of an argument and then things began going quite sour from there.

According to one leading newspaper in Mexico, the victim had taken part in a series of concerts and presentations and this was just the beginning of her great career. Many saw the immense potential in the way she sang and presented herself but it was just so tragic how her life ended.
