Times Square recently observed two terrifying acts of violence that involved a police officer and a 4-year-old child being attacked by a brutal stranger.
The man was accused of brutally punching a 4-year-old child in the head for no good reason. And just in case that wasn’t enough, he was also seen kicking a cop too.
Both horrifying acts took place in Times Square during the broad daylight hours as revealed by authorities.
The suspect involved is believed to have a notorious history of carrying out such violence in the past.
The unhinged man attacked both victims before he was restrained by the child’s mother and a few others who rapidly stepped in to assist until the police arrived and took matters into their own hands.
34-year-old Babacar Mbaye was held by officers and arrested for the attack that took place at 46th street and seventh avenue at the Crossroads of the World.
The area where the child was punched in the head was filled with bustling locals who seemed to be enjoying the beautiful weather as it was unseasonably warm at that hour.
But for whatever reason, the attacker punched the victim and tried to make a quick run for it. Before he knew it, the child’s mother restrained him and called for help.
Security footage obtained by The Post shows the NYPD and other law enforcement officers rushing to the scene as the same individual kicked a cop too.
Two heroic women can also be seen tackling the weird creep by holding him as another swung an object that looked like an umbrella, directly at his face.
