The family of the woman who was recently stabbed to death by her former husband is sharing their delight after cops dropped criminal charges against the man who killed the suspect.
According to local media reports, 43-year-old Yasmin Wafah passed away during the broad daylight hours after she was stabbed by her ex-husband, Leon Mccaskie on the roads of West London.
However, a young motorist happened to be at the right place at the right time and ended up plowing down the suspect. Soon, he was arrested by the police in regards to criminal charges for murder.
But as more and more news spread about the horrifying incident, thousands of citizens began signing a petition that called for him not to be charged for murder as he had done something that they felt was correct and what the suspect deserved.
The petition reportedly received 75,000 signatures and many were more than delighted to find out how their voice had been heard as cops dropped all the charges against the motorist.
While the grieving family of Yasmin is still in shock about the whole episode, they are expressing their delight in the matter and how grateful they are that justice has been served.
The family even went as far as calling him out as a hero that deserves much praise for his bravery. In the same way, they thanked the higher authorities and the police force for making the right decision.
“We are so grateful that the police has managed to take such sensible action,” they stated.
Cops have also confirmed how the motorist will no longer face any further questioning or police action and that the decision taken is final, right after they thoroughly studied the CCTV footage from the horrifying incident.
