The twisted man accused of assaulting and torturing a beautiful couple who happened to be on a romantic date is all set to receive his death row punishment.
Local media reports have gone on to mention how Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom went out on a date at a restaurant but never came back alive.
Both members of the couple were madly in love with each other and couldn’t wait for this beautiful evening together but little did they know about the horror that awaited them.
Right after the dinner, the couple also planned to go and attend their friend’s party. But when Newsom stopped to pick up his date for the evening from a car’s parking lot, the duo was carjacked.
However, that was just the start of a long series of horrific events that awaited them. As the couple was blindfolded the entire evening by three different men and then shoved into a car’s backseat at gunpoint too.
Their car was reportedly driven towards a house that was located on Chipman Street in Knoxville, Tennessee. That is reported to have been the residence of a man that would undergo execution for carrying out their deaths.
Inside Newson was sodomized via an object and then blindfolded, gagged, and also had his feet and head covered.
Later, he was even dragged outside of the residence while being barefoot and then dropped at a railroad track where he would be shot and his body set on fire.
Meanwhile, Channon’s death occurred shortly after she was s*xually abused, which left her body with a great number of injuries.
She was also assaulted with an object, possibly a chair, as revealed in the court. Right after that, a chemical was poured into her throat, as revealed in her forensic report after her death. Shortly after that, she was gagged and suffocated to death.
While a total of five men had been held responsible for the couple’s killings, only one of them received a death row and his name is Lemaricus Deval Davidson.
